The Idea

Peoples Pubs have a simple aim. To create well-run pubs with a real, traditional but contemporary feel that have at their heart the community in which they operate. Locked in to the great tradition of the ‘local’, the epicentre of British social life for centuries, our pubs will aspire to escape the staleness of the high street and the branded emporiums of the large pub companies.

This simple ambition is allied to what we believe is a unique and challenging venture in charity fundraising. Peoples Pubs Ltd will operate as a tightly controlled commercial business in what is a massively competitive market. At its core however will be the desire to offer our customers quality pubs driven by the desire to be innovative, stimulating and passionate in all we do.

Commercial success we believe will be the reward for this approach. This in turn will enable us to fulfil our central aim - the distribution of each sites net profit to local charities, community groups and individuals.

The idea is simple. After all the bills are paid, what’s left is given away! The more successful the pub, the more money there is to award to local groups.
