About Us

Peoples Pubs is a limited company but with an ambition to be anything but limited in its approach to business and charity fundraising. With over forty years of experience in the licensing trade, our ambition is to create a chain of pubs that are strongly competitive, commercially viable and ambitious in their outlook.

Where we differ from our competitors (and it is a fundamental difference!) is that this will be a non-profit making business that has at its heart the desire to be as profitable as possible. Confused? Well, no individual will profit from the success of the company financially, the net profit of each site being given away to local charities, community groups and individuals.

The frequency and size of the awards will be dictated by the level of success of each site. After the bills are paid – wages, rent, rates etc – what is left will be given away. It’s a simple as that! Whilst are outlook will be broad as to those we hope to help, Peoples Pubs aim is to help people based groups that are local to each of its sites. In other words, pubs that support and enhance the communities in which they exist.
